Credentials Validation Failed 723

Consistently getting a credentials validation failed 723 - Server returned 401 error when trying to launch from Steam. Was working last night. Since then Windows applied updates this morning as well as an update of the game from Steam in case that sheds any light on the issue. I did get a 502 bad gateway the first time I tried launching after logging into this site using my Steam credentials but back to the 401 after that.

Yeah, turned it off and turned it back on again. Almost positive I had done a reboot before but one more reboot seemed to do the trick and I was able to get back in last night.

as far as i know i wasn't VAC banned, but when i got home the game worked again, so i quess it was just a temporary thing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
