[Idea] allow a script to read if text is being written to the screen
I was writing a script and wanted to put the output at the bottom of all my gc xfers and what not and the only way to really do that is add a delay. I think it would be cool to add a feature in where the script could tell if there is currently text being written to the screen.

There's no way to do that reliably, since the notifications for GC xfers are delivered asynchronously and could be > 5 seconds delayed. AFAIK this is deliberate, so that you can't easily get all the transactions done then fill up the screen to make it look like they didn't happen.
